GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE UPDATE
- Bill
will be walking the project with the contractor again this upcoming month
to try and establish the particulars.
- Bill
examined the two detention ponds with Skinner. For roughly $1500 Skinner will do an
initial cleanup and follow-up maintenance in about 6 months. Regular maintenance of these ponds will
be incorporated in our contract with Skinner when it is set up for next
year.
- Eagle
scout project on trail is on hold.
Scouts had some sort of scheduling issue.
- Bill
has lined up Nat Washington from Snohomish County Surface Water Management
to speak at our next board meeting on the requirements to properly
maintain our detention ponds.
- Bill
will be reminding Nancy Popham that the groups
scheduling time at the baseball field (little league for example) needs to
commit to restoring the infield area and they must fulfill that
requirement. We must also be
assured that we are the named insured when groups such as the soccer camp
people schedule games or classes.
Portable toilet must be in place for little league and anchored to
avoid vandalism.
NEW BUSINESS
- We
agreed that we send out a ballet with the March newsletter for a new board
of directors. Each person will cast
up to nine votes. The ballots will
have address and first class postage already on the back of the page.
- Sue
Ann Goldman feels we should emphasize the July 4 party next year to
emphasize the sense of community.
