the dues for the last house sold in the neighborhood.
PRESENTATION OF RECEIVED E-MAIL

Fleishman sent an email response to the newsletter supporting continued
support of CC&Rs.
- Milt
& Aurla Magee sent a number of comments. There main issue is a request for details
on the expenses for Special Events in 2002. They don’t feel that treating the
amount(s) as an expense on the end of year profit and loss statement
wasn’t valid accounting. Sue Ann
Goldman committed to provide the details to them.
CC&R REPORT
- Mike Summitt reported that Dale Wise is near
completed with the tasks detailed by Sherman Knight. He has about 30 days left before the
final deadline.
- There
are still people who routinely place garbage out on Wednesday or earlier
but that and other issues are going much better.
- Mike
is waiting for a response from Leavitt on the tree cutting issue.

Scout troop 91 did an excellent job recycling Christmas trees and
upgrading our walking trail. Scout
dads removed several fallen trees along the trail.
- Second
scout troop has agreed to do maintenance of the trail east of houses along
72nd.

Water project group has been contacted regarding damage to our sprinkler
system. Bill Malowney has
assurances that the water district will repair all damages. Notes have been taken by Skinner and the
water district personnel.

TREASURER’S REPORT

Ann Goldman presented association financial status. In summary, we have
$13,779 in checking and $28,308 in CDs.

significant number of homeowners have already paid their 2003 assessment
and the special assessment for fence painting and repair.
NEW BUSINESS
- Steve
Yandl reminded the group that we can get on the notification list for the
development, “Village at Outcrop Creek”.
This development will impact traffic through our neighborhood.
- Steve
Yandl presented a draft of a proxy statement. He proposed sending an amended version
in the next newsletter.
- It
was decided that a new proxy would be made that would be part of a ballot
to be sent in a newsletter closer to the spring meeting (probably March
newsletter).
- In
the next newsletter and through phone solicitation, we will try to get a
number of candidates for the board.
These should be people willing to participate in meetings and help
make decisions.
- Our
goal will be to elect nine board members and the newly elected board will
select officers from within the group.
- Committee
chairpersons may also be members of the board but it is not necessary that
they be on the board
